The construction of the expressway on the Velunja section is one of the more challenging projects as part of the Third Development Axis towards the Koroška region. Kaskader d.o.o. is also involved in the project as a subcontractor, carrying out demanding field works related to the relocation of the 2 × 110 kV Dravograd–Velenje transmission line between structures 95 A and 104 A.

Extreme field works require close coordination

The works are being carried out on very steep terrain, making logistics particularly challenging. The sequence of activities is carefully planned and closely coordinated with other contractors, as many of their activities are taking place simultaneously with those of Kaskader.

Our team plays an important role in this process. With its experience, coordination and responsible approach, the team ensures that even the most demanding works are carried out safely and to a high standard.

Part of a major infrastructure project

The Velunja section, featuring a number of challenging structures, including tunnels and viaducts, will play an important role in shaping the new transport connection between Velenje and the Koroška region. The relocation of the transmission line and the installation of protective nets are our contribution to the successful implementation of this important infrastructure project.
